  1. For visitors who do not know the Howarth, it can best be described as a compact stately home, big enough to exhibit and display it's art exhibitions and its unique collection of Tiffany glass yet having a welcoming intimacy which makes the visitor feel valued due in no small part to the staff and volunteer's who quite rightly take a pride in what they regard as THEIR place.
Les`s exhibition has proved a success with both walls of the Bell gallery displaying his work, testament to the interest showed can be verified by the people speaking to him about his work during a visit the studio made this weekend.
All good things come to an end and sadly Les,s exhibition has now ended at the Howarth.
If you are in the area the Howarth will make you welcome.
